Peace II

I’d like to explain how you make me acquiesce, put the rise of my chest at sudden ease.

Love note to (redacted)

Journal Entry – April 11, 2021

I’m learning (& practicing) not becoming upset when some- thing/one irritates me. It is not easy to find peace when you are irritated or angered. One glaring example for me is becoming agitated while driving— happens to all of us I’m sure, a part of the human experience. I offset this by allowing myself plenty of time to get wherever I’m going, this has created a habit in me to always be on time. Unfortunately it created another opportunity for me; becoming irritated when others are late.

Lol, I’m just serious.

I love my connection with (redacted), she has a very calming nature, she also directly and indirectly challenges me to change the way I think. Let’s reuse the driving scenario; I’ve been licensed and driving since sixteen and I’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn once or twice so I can predict most traffic patterns, armed with this knowledge I can anticipate how others will behave – if I expect it to happen, before it happens I don’t get upset when it happens.

Science.

I won’t overreact, I will respond appropriately.

Holding on to my peace.

Harm None,

B
