The last day for four-hundred plus living souls from Bank of America's default mortgage servicing group. A group I was a part of less than five months ago. A group I was a part of due to a previous "workforce reduction" in Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities. As I communicated with a few strong connections on their well being, it could only be described as a delicate duality; I Am blessed to have preempted the job loss and sad that so many others are now faced with the debilitating time connected with it.

Last year I was pretty upset with the customer service I received from Verizon Wireless and threatened to cancel my service, well they took my threat literally and did it for me. I couldn't even be mad, I was pretty vocal about my disapproval. This led to a three month period between carriers, my intent was to reopen the account with Verizon but made an interesting discovery while I was without service.

Unsociable Behavior

While on our morning walk, Maestro our 2 year old Cocker Spaniel, rarely barks. The dogs in our neighborhood are either behind fences or kept indoors. There is one however that is on a chain and the owner(s) normally leave him unattended in the front yard. He is pretty agressive to passerbys; canines and people alike.

This observation would have stayed in my journal however this week I've had pragmatic discussions with girls that are friends in different stages of "relating." One married, one single and one engaged. Issue(s) with money was the conversation starter for all three.

A 2-day shoot, 6 crew members, 4-actors, borrowed equipment, in the director’s basement in Jamaica, Queens.  It goes to show that making a good film isn’t necessarily about how many bells and whistles you can throw into the cost of the shoot, but really about how you can combine the elements you have to make a good story.

Doesn't matter what time someone comes in; 7:30 AM or 10:30 AM the conversation is always about lunch. “What’s for lunch?” “What are we eating today?” This leads to discussions about food; Meatloaf Monday, Taco Tuesday … this leads to someone saying an unfamiliar term like “pop” we call it soda 'round these parts … this leads to me laughing so hard as we discuss the proper pronunciation of Crayon.

Less than one year ago I tipped the scale well above the title of this post. It is inspiring watching my body change. I Am 15 lbs shy of my (personal) target of two hundred twenty five.
