Words With Friends

& so it has been written, said, heads have been shaken top-to-bottom, front-to-back and side-to-side about my newly found participation in the online game words with friends [apparently I’m late to the party]. I’ve been both uninspired and unmotivated by my own monotony to write lately, however real life words with friends always seem to provide inspiration and motivation for everything. Every.Thing.

Where's Your Dad?

Ethan Tremblay: Where's your dad? Peter Highman: Uh... no idea.

Ethan Tremblay: When's the last time you saw him?

Peter Highman: 1977. He had his bags packed at the door and he picked them up and put in the back of his car. And, uh, drove away. Last time I ever saw him.

Exposed Vs Sheltered

I always feel like I need to explain the infrequency of my post. It usually has to do with the fact that I take in much from my environment, searching for some hidden truth or meaning. Swinging between irrational and rational thoughts and feelings [my crazy], normally this takes place in my mind but those close to me may witness it from time to time. The monotony of my life doesn’t provide many truth seeking moments and the tedious repetition of work, work, hustle & home leaves me uninspired at times.

Flattery

Paying of compliments to win favor. An act or instance of complimenting somebody, often excessively or insincerely, especially in order to gain an advantage.

Flattery is inclusive of the word compliment in its definition, however I do not believe it is the same nor should it be used synonymously.

10 Things You Don't Deserve Applause For

It’s heavy in these social streets.

To use or not to use social media

Build it and they will come. Use it to benefit you or use it for fun. Or, don’t use it at all. Your point of view means nothing to others. I’m not dope or vapid because I use it and you’re not profound or about that slow life if you don’t.

No applause.
